Richmond’s big, versatile bat with all-conference punch
In the 2026 season, Dylan Winebrenner emerged as Richmond’s offensive engine, earning Atlantic 10 All-First Team and ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Second Team honors after hitting .359 with 16 home runs, 78 hits, 60 runs, and a .470 OBP. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound graduate catcher/first baseman brings legit middle-of-the-order power, strong on-base skill, and lineup flexibility, and he’s the kind of high-motor run producer who can change a game with one swing. He also added Academic All-America credentials, which is a nice bonus for a player already showing pro-style durability and impact.
