Veteran Cal Poly DB Kevin Griffin brings Pac-12-tested coverage instincts
Kevin Griffin is a seasoned defensive back for Cal Poly whose biggest edge is experience: he came to the Mustangs after playing at Washington State and has shown he can hold up against higher-level competition. In his Cal Poly years, he produced impact plays like interceptions, pass breakups, tackles for loss, and a steady tackle load, which points to a DB who’s physical, assignment-sound, and willing to trigger downhill. If you want a reliable defensive back with game reps, instincts, and some swagger, Griffin looks like a fit.
