LaShay Fears brings steady guard play and veteran poise to Fresno State
LaShay Fears has been a reliable two-way guard for Fresno State, with a game built on composure, ball security, and timely scoring. In the 2008-09 season, she averaged 7.5 points and 3.2 assists per game and ranked third in the WAC in assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.32, a strong sign of decision-making under pressure[1]. She also produced in big moments, including an 18-point NCAA tournament outing, which points to a player who can handle the spotlight and fit a team that values disciplined backcourt leadership[1][4].
