D'Shaun Ford brings a compact, downhill RB profile to Grambling
D'Shaun Ford enters the 2026 season at Grambling State as a 5-foot-10, 230-pound sophomore back with real pedigree: he was ranked the nation’s No. 68 running back by On3 and once posted 1,300 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns in high school. In 2025 at ULM, he was a limited-use freshman, finishing with 44 yards on 13 carries, but his Grambling profile suggests a more physical fit for short-yardage and between-the-tackles work. The appeal is simple: compact build, reported burst from track speed, and a fresh chance to turn flashes into volume.
