a turnover-friendly Elon DB with proven tackling production
Dwayne Ijames is a former Elon defensive back who stood out for his disruptive, high-activity style, including a career-high 17 tackles in a game and school-record return production over his career, which points to instinct, effort, and open-field reliability. Elon’s roster page lists him as a 5-11, 182-pound senior DB, but the current season stats are not available there, so the clearest value case comes from his past production and playmaking rather than recent stat lines. He reads like a fit for a team that wants a tough, assignment-sound defender who can contribute in space and bring a blue-collar edge.
