Compact Powerhouse RB with Elite Burst Awaiting Breakout at EKU
Redshirt junior Telly McCallister, a 5'9" bulldozer from Akron, Ohio, flashed serious potential in 2024 at Eastern Kentucky, averaging a team-high 8.4 yards per carry on nine rushes for 76 yards and his first collegiate TD vs. Morehead State—capped by a career-best 103-yard, 1-TD explosion in a perfect-home-season clincher. His low center of gravity and high school dominance (1,615 yards, 20 TDs as Ohio all-state pick) scream workhorse upside, perfect for teams needing a gritty, explosive change-of-pace back who thrives in big moments without injury red flags.
