walk-on-turned-leader with proven tackling juice
Robbie Leonard’s best calling card is relentless, underdog-style production: in 2008, he led NC State with 95 tackles and earned the program’s Mike Hardy Award for playing beyond his capabilities. He also brings valuable context that stats don’t fully capture — he was a walk-on who carved out a starting role after moving from safety to linebacker, which speaks to toughness, adaptability, and football IQ. If your team wants a gritty, high-motor linebacker who can overachieve and set the tone, Leonard fits the bill.
