FIU’s story is unclear right now, but the Panthers’ backfield is crowding up fast
Bill Grant’s current FIU football profile is difficult to verify from the available public team data, and FIU’s 2026 backfield appears to be led by other runners, with Anthony Carrie among the published rushing leaders for the 2025-26 season. The fit question here is less about flash and more about clarity: if Grant is on the roster or in the mix, he’ll need to separate himself with reliability, decisiveness, and special-teams value in a room that already has multiple RB options.
