Jay Vaughan brings veteran guard savvy and captain-level steadiness to Lafayette
In the most recent available Lafayette bio, Jay Vaughan was a team captain in 2021-22 and was praised for his deep program knowledge, which signals the kind of reliable, coachable guard who steadies a locker room and understands the details that win games. His college stat profile shows a limited but efficient scoring sample in earlier seasons, with the kind of low-usage, role-player footprint that suggests toughness, preparedness, and a team-first mindset rather than flash. If you need a composed guard who can fit into structure, Vaughan looks like the sort of steady hand that coaches trust.
