a classic NDSU linebacker built for big-game defense
Chad Willson’s standout trait is old-school reliability: at North Dakota State, he was known as a physical, high-motor linebacker who fit the Bison’s hard-nosed identity and produced in big moments. In his senior-era run, he ranked among NDSU’s top tacklers and earned MVFC recognition, with coaches and coverage consistently praising his motor, toughness, and steady play against the run. He looks like a strong fit for a program that values discipline, special teams value, and downhill defense over flash.
