Virginia Tech’s do-it-all backcourt disruptor
Jamon Gordon is a former Virginia Tech guard, not a current Hokie, and his legacy is built on two-way impact: he finished his college career with 514 assists and 273 steals, both second-most in Virginia Tech history[1]. In the 2006-07 season, he also produced a career-high 24 points in a game for the Hokies[2]. What makes him stand out is the rare blend of playmaking, defensive havoc, and physical toughness that coaches love in a tone-setter; he was even later inducted into the Virginia Tech Sports Hall of Fame[15].
