steady veteran point guard with real floor-general instincts
In the 2006-07 season, Brett Swanson was a senior guard for Florida, a true point guard praised by the Gators as having exceptional vision and a strong feel for the game. His value is more connective than flashy: he brought bench energy, ball handling, and coach’s-son poise after developing at Pensacola Junior College, and his role reflected reliability over volume. In short, if you need a smart, steady organizer who won’t force the issue, he’s your guy—though he’s best suited as a system fit rather than a high-usage creator.
