A veteran Aztec road-grader with starting experience
Gerald Sykes has been a steady interior/offensive line presence for San Diego State, with the program listing him as a returning starter at right guard in the 2003 season and noting he figures to be a standout up front[4]. He brings veteran size, experience, and reliability to the Aztecs’ front, which is exactly what you want from an OL anchor; the catch is that the available public info is dated, so there’s no clean modern ranking or recent stat trail to lean on[2][4].
