Vanderbilt’s steady, two-way frontcourt engine
Sacha Washington returned to Vanderbilt in 2025-26 after missing the 2024-25 season with a blood clot in her right calf, and the comeback has looked like a veteran’s resurrection tour. In the 2025-26 season, she started all 33 games and finished as the only SEC player with more than 1,300 career points, 900 rebounds and 100 blocks, while also leading Vanderbilt in rebounding at 7.6 per game and delivering a 17-rebound NCAA Tournament outing. She fits if you want toughness, interior efficiency, defensive versatility and leadership from a proven, high-motor frontcourt piece.
