seasoned Delaware State linebacker with real game experience
James Beverly brings veteran linebacker depth to Delaware State, with roster listings showing him as a 5'11", 215-pound junior in the 2007 season after earlier redshirt status, which signals a player who has developed through the program rather than arriving as a flash-in-the-pan talent[3][6]. His value is less about splashy public stat lines and more about dependable linebacker traits: compact size, experience, and the kind of steady, assignment-sound profile coaches usually love when they need a defense to stay organized. If your team wants a physical, experienced defender who fits a disciplined system, Beverly looks like a sensible, low-drama add.
