Derek Miller brings size and red-zone intrigue to Sacramento State's TE room
Derek Miller fits the classic “big target” TE mold at Sacramento State, listed among the Hornets’ tight ends at 6-6, 235 pounds in 2026. His appeal is the easy stuff coaches love: catch radius, matchup value, and blocking potential that can help a run game stay on schedule. The catch? Publicly available current production is limited, so the real question is whether he turns that frame into consistent snaps and dependable game-day impact.
