Harvard OL Ryan Pilconis: Big frame, Ivy League versatility, and a developmental trench piece
Ryan Pilconis projects as a sturdy Harvard offensive lineman with classic tackle size — listed at 6-foot-5, 280 pounds in 2007 — and a multi-year background that suggests versatility, having been listed at OLB earlier in his career before moving to OT. In the 2006 Harvard Crimson profile, his high school production and athletic background were highlighted as signs of promise, but Harvard’s roster pages show no official game stats, so the story here is more about frame, positional value, and upside than box-score flash. If your team wants a long, well-built lineman with developmental traits, he’s the kind of “quiet in the stats, loud in the trenches” prospect to monitor.
