Dakota Derrick’s FCS fit looks more like a long-shot depth piece than a proven difference-maker
Dakota Derrick is listed with Furman football, but the current public record surfaced here does not show recent game-impacting stats or a clear starting role, so the safest read is that he is not yet a known production quarterback. For a team, that means intrigue comes from projection, not résumé: you’d want to verify arm talent, decision-making, and practice consistency rather than expect immediate stat-sheet fireworks. In a crowded QB room, that usually signals developmental upside more than ready-made answer.
