Alexis Chappelle brings pass-first guard savvy and proven leadership to SIUE
Alexis Chappelle is a veteran SIUE guard whose calling card was playmaking: she led the Cougars in assists in 2013-14 and once delivered seven assists off the bench in a win over Air Force, while her prep résumé shows she was a conference Player of the Year who also led her team in scoring and steals. That blend of distribution, toughness, and two-way competitiveness makes her profile appealing for a coach who wants a guard who can organize offense, defend with energy, and elevate teammates rather than just chase points.
