Durable, High-Pressure Wisconsin Guard with Two-Way Edge
Hughes was a dependable Wisconsin backcourt engine who started 100 straight games and appeared in 132 career games, a sign of toughness, trust, and consistency. His value went beyond scoring: he brought strong ball-handling, playmaking, and disruptive perimeter defense, highlighted by a senior-year line of 22.2 points, 5.7 assists, and 4.8 steals per game, plus 15 career 20-point games. He looks like a fit for teams that want a gritty, intense guard who can control tempo, pressure the ball, and deliver in big moments rather than just pile up empty points.
