Justin Johnson brings special-teams toughness and upside to Louisiana Tech
Justin Johnson’s profile points to a physical, high-motor defensive back who can add value as a versatile depth piece and special-teams contributor; Fresno State listed him as a 6-foot-1, 185-pound defender with good speed, acceleration, toughness, and strong pursuit numbers in EA’s ratings. His background also shows durability and buy-in—he appeared in 10 games in 2024 and earned Academic All-MW honors—so he looks like a fit for a program that wants reliable effort, range, and developmental upside rather than a pure headline-grabber.[18][4]
