Caiyle Kaupu brings veteran size, versatility, and winning pedigree to the frontcourt
Caiyle Kaupu is a 6-foot forward whose value goes beyond box-score basics: she played in 92 games over four seasons at UC Irvine and was part of a 2023-24 Big West Tournament title run, then moved on with a reputation as a strong, skilled, inside-out forward who can score on both the block and perimeter. Her background also suggests real toughness and consistency—she was a high-level prep star in Hawai‘i and has already shown she can fit winning teams, which makes her a good bet for a program wanting experience, versatility, and steady two-way effort.
