Chris Klueber brings strike-throwing polish and freshman poise to UMass Lowell’s mound mix
In the 2026 season, freshman right-hander Christopher Klueber made 11 appearances and three starts for UMass Lowell, logging 19.0 innings with 12 strikeouts, including scoreless outings against Dartmouth and Merrimack. The 5-foot-10 Bourne, Mass. native doesn’t overwhelm with size, but he’s shown competitive toughness, enough command to work multiple roles, and the kind of early college composure coaches love. He looks like a useful fit for a staff that values versatility, strike-pounding, and low-drama innings.
