Nick Delgado brings veteran DB toughness and backfield awareness to CCSU
Nick Delgado is listed as a Central Connecticut State defensive back, and the available profile data shows a 6-foot-2, 180-pound frame with experience in multiple games and a tackle-heavy role early in his career. The big draw is the size-and-physicality combo: he looks like a corner/safety hybrid who can support the run and handle contact, which matters for a defense that wants reliability over flash. Publicly available up-to-date stats and scouting notes are limited, so the safest read is that he fits best as a steady, physically willing depth piece with upside if he’s healthy and active in the rotation.
