Jacob Trump brings Missouri linebacker experience and SEC academic discipline
Jacob Trump is a former Missouri linebacker who played from 2015-18 and earned four straight SEC Academic Honor Roll selections, which points to the kind of disciplined, coach-friendly defender who can absorb assignments and add value beyond splash plays. He later worked in Missouri’s defensive coaching support roles, including inside linebackers and special teams, suggesting strong football IQ, attention to detail, and a feel for the defense’s demands. If you value reliability, scheme understanding, and a high-effort, low-drama presence, he fits that profile well.
