Hansel Atencia brings steady lead-guard experience and FIBA-tested scoring pop
Atencia’s profile is that of a savvy, veteran guard who can run offense, create for others, and give you reliable perimeter scoring; in Liberty’s 2015-16 season he averaged 1.5 points and 17 assists in 19 games, while his 2025 FIBA AmeriCup Qualifiers line for Colombia showed 13.5 points and 3.8 assists per game, plus a 35.4% mark from three over six games. He looks like a fit for a team needing poise, ball handling, and international-level feel more than pure athletic fireworks.
