William Petteys is a 6-foot-2 lefty with real bullpen usefulness for Georgia State
In the 2026 season, William Petteys is a redshirt freshman left-handed pitcher for Georgia State who has already been used in multiple relief spots, including a combined closeout in the Panthers’ win over West Georgia and appearances against Mercer and Georgia.[1][2][5][7] The profile that pops: a live left arm, projectable frame, and enough versatility to be trusted in pressure innings; his earlier recruiting data listed fastball velocity up to 90 mph, which hints at swing-and-miss upside if the command sharpens.[1][9] He looks like a fit for teams that value developmental upside, matchup flexibility, and a bullpen arm who can grow into more than just LOOGY duty.
