Jahmir Pitcher is a promising Columbia back with strong high school production and special-teams value
Pitcher enters Columbia as a sophomore running back with a compact 5-11, 185-pound frame and a track record of production, including All-NEPSAC honors and multiple 1,000-yard-caliber seasons in high school. In 2025, he played in three games for Columbia, logging 9 carries for 25 yards, plus a 13-yard kick return and a special-teams tackle, which suggests he’s already carving out a role beyond offense. He fits best as a physical, multi-purpose depth piece with upside if his college workload grows.
