Michael Peterson brings size, shooting touch, and championship experience to Michigan State
A 6-foot-7 graduate transfer guard, Michael Peterson stands out for his **outside shooting**, rebounding, and proven winning pedigree after four years at Ferris State, where he helped win the 2018 NCAA Division II national title; in his 2020-21 season he started all 18 games and averaged 9.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 35% from three, making him a useful fit for a team that wants a versatile, mature, low-maintenance contributor rather than a high-usage scorer.[1][3]
