Thor Merrow brings old-school edge and proven toughness to WVU’s front
Thor Merrow’s profile is defined more by grit than flash: West Virginia listed him at 6-foot-1 and 250 pounds as a junior defensive lineman, and his bio describes him as a fierce competitor with an always-running motor, good quickness, and a physical style. He also battled nagging injuries in 2007, which matters when judging durability, but he still logged 8 tackles in 8 games that season and had a prep resume full of production and winning. If you want a high-effort, hard-nosed trench player with academic and locker-room credibility, he fits the bill.
