Kevin Hayden brings backcourt savvy and playmaking upside to South Alabama
Hayden profiles as a guard with a creator’s background and a strong feel for making others better: in high school he averaged 20 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds and 3 steals per game, showing the kind of two-way versatility coaches like in a connective backcourt piece.[3] The available South Alabama data is limited, so the clearest read is that he’s more of a *fit-and-function* guard than a stat-stuffing star right now; that makes him worth watching if your team values tempo, toughness, and guard depth over pure shot volume.[5]
