a strikeout-first righty with a real swing-and-miss profile
In the 2025 season, Saint Peter’s right-hander Jackson Thorne flashed a clear separator: 18 strikeouts in 14.1 innings across 13 appearances, showing the kind of bat-missing ability that can play in any bullpen. He also earned multiple All-Academic honors and came from The Winchendon School with a wrestling background, which hints at competitiveness, discipline, and toughness. The fit question is simple: if a team wants a gritty, developmental arm with punch-out upside and a coachable track record, Thorne is very much worth a look.
