Merci Hart is a steady, high-contact catcher/utility bat for Howard
Merci Hart brings value as a contact-first catcher/utility option with a proven bat and clean defense: Howard lists her at a .360 average with 41 hits, 8 doubles, 1 triple, 18 runs, 27 RBI, and a .447 slugging mark in her latest roster bio, while D1Softball’s Howard stats page shows her hitting .346 in 2024 and Howard’s 2024 fielding stats credit her with a 1.000 fielding percentage in 57 chances. Beyond the numbers, she reads like a dependable glue player—versatile, productive, and low-mistake—making her a fit for a team that values consistency and multi-role coverage over pure power.
