Ryan Patton brings linebacker experience and a Saluki-ready presence
Ryan Patton is a Southern Illinois linebacker whose value appears to come from reliability, defensive familiarity, and a role built around being in the right place at the right time rather than flash; SIU’s football record book also lists him among the program’s linebacker names, which suggests he has been part of the team’s deeper defensive history. Based on the limited public data available here, he profiles as a fit for a team that wants a steady, assignment-sound defender who can help stabilize the middle of the defense.
