SMU’s Keith Williams: a low-volume RB with upside, but the sample is still tiny
Keith Williams has flashed only in a limited role, with 32 rushing yards on 11 carries and a modest 2.9 yards per carry in the 2026 data found, so the stat line says “depth piece” more than featured back. What makes him interesting is the fit question: if SMU wants a grinder who can handle short-yardage work and improve behind a stronger run-blocking unit, he’s worth a look—but there isn’t enough public production yet to call him a proven impact runner.
