Vincent Avery brings proven backfield toughness and special-teams edge to NC Central
Avery profiles as a physical, old-school **fullback** with a defensive background that shows up in his contact balance, leverage, and willingness to do the dirty work. North Carolina Central’s roster notes credit him with a **forced fumble**, a tackle for loss, and a senior year with **90 tackles and 6 sacks**, which suggests he plays with urgency and can contribute beyond traditional fullback duties.[3] He looks like a fit for a team that values toughness, versatility, and high-effort, low-drama production more than flashy box-score numbers.[3]
