Sandy Riley brings veteran Texas Tech edge presence with proven tackling production
Sandy Riley is a Texas Tech defensive end whose profile is built more on dependable, physical play than flash: ESPN lists him with 16 solo tackles and 1 sack, while Texas Tech’s roster history shows he was a durable contributor who played in all 13 games in 2008 and finished with 11 total tackles that season. He’s the kind of edge player who fits a team needing effort, assignment discipline, and depth on the defensive front rather than a pure highlight-reel pass rusher.
