Christopher Nell brings pro-caliber velocity to Lehigh’s rotation
Nell is a **6-foot-4 right-handed pitcher** whose biggest calling card is arm strength: he was clocked at **91.5 mph** at the 2025 NHSI, and at The Stony Brook School he posted a **1.47 ERA, 50 strikeouts, and a 5-0 record in 33 innings** during his senior season.[5][17] He also arrived with real winning pedigree, helping Stony Brook win a **NYSAIS state championship** and earning **All-League** honors, which suggests competitiveness as well as stuff.[5] If your staff wants a tall, high-upside arm with proven amateur success and room to keep growing, Nell is the kind of fit that makes sense.[5][17]
