Jena' Williams brings steady guard play and veteran utility to UTRGV
Jena' Williams is a seasoned UT Rio Grande Valley guard whose value shows up in the little things: she has been trusted as a point-guard option, can handle the ball, and has delivered multi-category games like 15 points with four rebounds against Sam Houston in the 2022-23 season. She also arrived with Division I experience from Nevada, where she started 16 games, which hints at a player comfortable in bigger roles and pressure moments. The fit? A dependable, savvy backcourt piece with enough versatility to stabilize a rotation.
