Grambling State guard Velario Altheimer is a low-usage backcourt option still looking to establish a larger role
Altheimer’s listed production is modest in the available data, with just 1.7 points, 0.2 assists, and 0.3 steals per game, and Grambling State’s roster page shows no detailed season statistics for him, so the clearest read is that he is still working to carve out a bigger on-court identity.[1][3] At this stage, the appeal is less about box-score volume and more about whether a team values a developmental guard who can grow into a reliable role player.
