Trenton Gillison brings veteran size and reliable TE production to Tennessee State
Gillison profiles as a dependable, experience-driven tight end with the frame and ball skills to be a useful middle-of-the-field target: Tennessee State lists him at 6-5, 245, and ESPN shows 34 career catches for 354 yards, which points to steady, chain-moving usage rather than explosive volume. Notre Dame game notes also described him as Tennessee State’s top tight end, and his Michigan State background suggests Power-5-developed technique and toughness. For a team needing a big-bodied, mature TE who can contribute in the pass game and understand how to play within an offense, he looks like a solid fit.
