a versatile San Diego veteran with old-school grinder traits
Thomas Cobbs is listed as a 6'3", 235-pound senior tight end for San Diego, and his roster history shows he spent earlier seasons on the defensive side before settling into the TE role[1]. The big takeaway: he brings versatility, positional toughness, and experience—traits coaches love because they usually translate into reliable blocking, special-teams value, and a grown-man understanding of the game, even if his stat line won’t scream for attention[1][2].
