Western Illinois RB with Solid Vision but Limited Production
Rico Thomas, Western Illinois Leathernecks running back, posted 125 yards on 21 carries (6.0 avg) with no TDs in his tracked season per ESPN stats, showcasing burst and elusiveness from his Hopewell, VA high school highlights on Hudl. A redshirt background at UVA Wise suggests durability and patience, making him a gritty, vision-driven back ideal for committees or developmental systems—but his modest volume signals he's no workhorse, better as a change-of-pace spark than a feature guy. Care if you need efficient yards after contact on a budget roster.
