Maddux Marshall brings high-OBP upside and infield versatility to Eastern Illinois
In the 2025 season, Eastern Illinois infielder Maddux Marshall showed a promising on-base profile in limited action, posting a .485 OBP with 4 walks and 4 runs in 16 games, hinting at a disciplined, contact-first approach rather than pure power. She looks like a fit for teams that value steady at-bats, depth on the dirt, and lineup flexibility; the caution is sample size, so her next step is proving that plate discipline holds over a bigger workload. Reliable public scouting/analysis on Marshall is limited, but the stat line suggests a patient, grinder-type contributor.
