Howard legend Willie Carter: a program icon, not a current roster WR
Willie Carter is a Howard football alum and 2026 Hall of Fame inductee, known for electric production as a wide receiver rather than current 2026-era game action. Howard’s Hall of Fame note and archived team material show him as a 6-foot-3 playmaker who piled up 179 catches, 2,400-plus yards, and 21 touchdowns in 38 games, while earning MEAC Rookie of the Year honors and all-conference recognition. If you want a big-bodied, proven separator with real pedigree, Carter is the blueprint; if you need an active 2026 roster evaluation, the available team page does not show current stats for him.
