a physical, high-motor linebacker to watch in Louisiana-Monroe’s front seven
Jason Edwards gives Louisiana-Monroe a linebacker profile that fits the Sun Belt grind: physical, assignment-sound, and built to play with steady intensity. Publicly available search results don’t provide reliable 2025–26 stat leaders for his current ULM role, so the best read is on fit and traits rather than box-score flash. If you need a defender who can bring toughness, handle contact, and bring energy every snap, Edwards is the kind of player coaches usually trust to stabilize the middle of a defense.
