Virginia’s rangy, reliable back-end defender with proven production
In the 2024 season, Jam Jackson was a steady difference-maker for Virginia, starting all 12 games and posting 58 tackles, 6 pass breakups, and a half-sack while earning the team’s Defensive Rookie of the Year honor.[4][13] He brings size, toughness, and versatility to the secondary, and his tackle volume plus ball disruption suggest a safety who shows up near the line and in coverage. The big red flag is availability: he missed the 2025 season due to injury, so the fit question hinges on health as much as talent.[4]
