Longtime Dartmouth wing with size, versatility, and Finnish flair
Kirill Savolainen is a 6-foot-5 guard/forward from Vantaa, Finland, who brought multi-positional size and versatility to Dartmouth, and he also has a distinctly unusual background as a seven-year singer in the National Opera of Helsinki, which hints at poise and discipline beyond the box score.[1][7] His documented college production is limited in the available season stat line — in the 2012-13 season he played in 9 games and scored 1 point — so the appeal is more about his frame, position flexibility, and international pedigree than eye-popping numbers.[5]
