Wesley Scott brings middle-of-the-order pop and versatility to Louisiana Tech
In the 2026 season, Wesley Scott emerged as a productive everyday bat for Louisiana Tech, playing in 56 games with 50 starts and hitting .263 with 7 doubles, 7 home runs, 31 RBI, and 36 runs scored. He also arrived with proven transfer production from Ouachita Baptist, where he hit .324 in 2025 with an .449 on-base percentage and 8 homers, showing he can impact games with power, patience, and speed. The fit is obvious: a competitive, multi-position run producer who can lengthen an order and deliver when the lights get bright.
