Veteran OL Anchor for Nevada Wolf Pack
Shane Cannon is a senior offensive lineman for the Nevada Wolf Pack who provides critical depth and special teams intensity, distinguishing himself with a veteran presence that elevates the run game (4.6 yards per carry in 2024) beyond raw stats. While his 2015-2016 tenure shows he is a reliable, injury-free contributor who thrives in high-pressure rivalry games like the Fremont Cannon battle, his primary differentiator is his unwavering commitment to team depth rather than individual star power. For a team seeking a gritty, dependable OL who can hold the line in Mountain West Conference matchups without missing games, Cannon is an excellent fit, though he may lack the explosive athleticism of a top-tier draft prospect.
